At Ryutai Viladecans we teach Kick Boxing following the Team Calderón methodology, recognized for training champions and being part of the Catalan Selection. Since 2016, over 200 students have trusted us for their training.

Frequently Asked Questions

You don't need any previous experience to begin at Ryutai. Most of our students started without ever having practiced martial arts. Our Team Calderón instructors adapt classes to your level from day one, teaching you from basic guard position to advanced techniques progressively and safely. We all start from zero.
For your first class you only need comfortable workout clothes (t-shirt, shorts or leggings) and a water bottle. We provide basic equipment for you to try: gloves, wraps and protective gear. If you decide to continue, we'll advise you on what personal equipment you need to purchase. Training is barefoot on professional tatami.
To see consistent results we recommend training 2-3 times per week. If your goal is to get fit or learn self-defense, 2 sessions per week are sufficient. For competition or faster progress, 3-4 sessions are ideal. Our flexible schedule allows you to combine days according to your availability. Consistency is what matters.
Kick Boxing practiced correctly with professional instructors is very safe. At Ryutai we apply strict safety protocols: mandatory warm-up, technique before power, use of complete protective gear, and progressive sparring only when the student is ready. Our Team Calderón instructors supervise every session. In 9 years and over 200 students, our priority has always been to train effectively but safely.
