From Gavà: 5 minutes by car, buses L46, L77. From El Prat de Llobregat: 8 minutes, very close to the airport. From Barcelona-El Prat Airport: 10 minutes by car. Many of our students come from these towns. We have free nearby parking at both locations.

No. At Ryutai there is NO permanence or mandatory annual contracts. We work with monthly fees without ties because we trust in the quality of our classes and family atmosphere. You can cancel whenever you need without penalties. Our philosophy is that you stay because you want to, not because you're trapped in a contract.

How many classes per week can I attend?

It depends on the plan you choose. To see consistent results we recommend training 2-3 times per week minimum. If your goal is fitness or self-defense, 2 weekly sessions are enough. For advanced technical development or competition, ideally 3-4 sessions. Our flexible schedules allow you to combine days according to your availability.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you miss a class, you can make it up at another time for your same sport and level, subject to availability. We recommend notifying instructors if you know you won't be able to attend, but we understand that unexpected things come up. Flexibility is one of our advantages over more rigid gyms.

Are there classes on Sundays?

No, we currently do not offer classes on Sundays. Our schedule is Monday through Saturday. On Saturdays we have reduced hours: Ryutai I from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Ryutai II from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This day is ideal for making up classes or training more calmly.

Are there classes during vacations or holidays?

During vacation periods (Christmas, Easter, summer) we adjust class schedules but maintain reduced activity for those who want to train. We close on official holidays. We always give advance notice of schedule changes for vacations or holidays through Instagram and WhatsApp.

How long does each class last?

Each class lasts approximately 60 minutes (1 hour). This includes initial warm-up, technical work, physical conditioning and final stretching. Competition classes can extend up to 90 minutes with more intensive sparring work and advanced physical preparation.

Do I need previous experience to start?

You don't need any previous experience to start at Ryutai. Most of our students started without ever having practiced martial arts. We have specific groups for beginners where our Team Calderón instructors teach from the most basic fundamentals in a progressive and safe way. We all start from zero.

What should I bring to my first class?

For your first class you only need comfortable sports clothes (t-shirt, shorts or leggings), water bottle and lots of desire to learn. We provide the basic equipment for you to try: gloves, wraps, shin guards and protections. If you decide to continue, we'll advise you on what personal equipment you need to buy according to your sport.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

You don't need to be in shape beforehand. Classes are designed to improve your physical condition progressively. We start with exercises adapted to your current level and gradually increase the intensity. Many students come specifically to get in shape through martial arts, and it's a very effective and motivating method.

How do I know which level to choose?

At your first free class, instructors will evaluate your current level and recommend the most suitable group. Groups are mainly divided into: Beginners (no experience), Intermediate (1-2 years of practice), Advanced (more than 2 years) and Competition (tournament preparation). We also have age groups: Kids, Juniors and Adults.

What's the difference between Kick Boxing and K1?

K1 is a kickboxing style that allows more extensive knee strikes (no elbows), while traditional Kick Boxing has restrictions on knee use. K1 follows Japanese rules that favor continuous action without constant interruptions, resulting in more aggressive and dynamic fights. At Ryutai we teach both disciplines, and many students train both to be more complete fighters.

What is MMA?

What's the difference between BJJ and Grappling?

To start, we provide the basic equipment. If you continue, you'll need personal equipment according to your sport: Striking (Kick Boxing/K1/Boxing): boxing gloves, wraps, shin guards, mouth guard.
